Meals On Wheels Come Up A Treat

Newcastle Herald

Wednesday July 29, 1998

Jenny Tarran

A NEW catering business called Le Treat is set to take the panic out of dinner parties.

The young trio of Kate Ross, chef James Heads and Alana Partridge bring along all the ingredients for the meal and use the client's kitchen equipment and tableware for the dinner party.

Ms Ross said the service meant less stress for those hosting the dinner party and that the presentation of the meal was better as the meals were served direct to the host's plates, rather than being transported to the house and then rearranged on the plate.

Ms Ross and Ms Partridge serve the meal then wash up and take away the rubbish.

`We have 10 set menus ranging from $35 to $55 a head, but we are open to suggestions,' Ms Ross said.

Le Treat can be contacted on 4962-4844. Restaurant awards
